Psychiatry is the medical specialty that deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of mental/behavioral disorders. It’s a mental illness that greatly disturbs patients thinking, moods, and behavior.

We MNR Medical College psychiatry department promotes our its mission to contribute to society the determinants of mental health conditions, their treatments, and the promotion of mental health, and teach psychiatry to medical undergraduate and postgraduate students.

It also aims to develop future researchers in our graduate program and provide innovative clinical services. and has been sequentially gradually expandeingd in terms of sub-specialties, patients, inflow, widening of community service offered, and research activities.
