Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of the eye and visual system. Doctors who specialize in medical and surgical treatment are called Ophthalmologists.

MNR department of Ophthalmology aims to provide quality care in Ophthalmology, especially for the low-income group in and around the rural areas of Sangareddy district, Telangana State, at an affordable cost.

Our department comprises doctors interested in matching your concerns with accurate diagnoses and treatments. We seek to provide the right treatment and educate patients regarding their condition so that they, too, can get involved in its management.

With a dedicated faculty, the department offers a wide range of clinical specialties, takes part in outreach programs, and provides state-of-the-art surgical management for cataracts with premium IOL implantation on par with the top corporate hospitals in the state.

The department's academic activities are highly beneficial to the postgraduates, and many of the students, with faculty's aid, have presented papers in state and national level conferences.
