Pediatrics is the branch of medicine that deals with the health and medical care of infants, children, and adolescents. The Department of Pediatrics was established with a vision to train young aspiring students in the pediatric field to take care of health in children in and around Sangareddy district, Telangana State.
The department imparts teaching and training programs in pediatrics to MBBS students and postgraduates. We provide preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare for infants, children, and adolescents up to 18 years. The department offers 24/7 exceptional pediatric care.
It has a world-class PICU and NICU ward. We have several sub-specialty clinics that function every single day of the week. We provide all types of vaccination as per the national immunization schedule.
Our department participates in all outreach programs through MNR MEDHA-Genius Child programs, general camps, school health camps, flood relief camps, and celebration of all national health-related programs like breastfeeding week celebrations and pulse polio campaigns, etc.
Four postgraduate students are admitted every year.
