Orthopedics is the branch of medicine that deals with the musculoskeletal system, treating injuries to bones, joints, ligaments, or tendons. The Department of Orthopedics Surgery is committed to delivering the highest quality of diagnostic and therapeutic patient care to both adults and children for a diverse spectrum of orthopedic disorders and train undergraduate and postgraduates according to the competency-based curriculum.
Department has OPD facilities, including minor OT, portable X-ray facility, POP room, Seminar room, and consulting rooms. There is one fully-equipped orthopedic operation theatre and one infectious OT. It has two dedicated image intensifiers, arthroscopic equipment, and an operative microscope.
