Dermatology is the branch of medicine that deals with skin. A doctor who specializes in dermatology is known as a dermatologist, he manages diseases related to skin, hair, nails, and also some cosmetic problems.

The Department of Dermatology was established at MNR to provide comprehensive treatment for skin-related problems at affordable costs. The department is engaged in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, offering patient care, and also doing research work.

The department is equipped with state-of-the-art treatment facilities like - Laser treatments for hair removal, tattoo removal, acne scar, pigmentation, etc.

The Department of Dermatology, Venereology, and Leprosy, also provides treatment for all types of dermatological, STD & leprosy cases, including its complications. It routinely carries out dermatologic and cosmetic procedures such as biopsies, skin grafting, cryotherapy, electrocautery, chemical peels, and skin resurfacing procedures such as derma rolling.
